Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Snake is a blended Scotch whisky, the James Jean Edition, released for Lunar New Year 2025. The artist James Jean based the bottle design on the snake, a symbol of renewal, transformation and wisdom in Chinese astrology. It is bottled at 40% ABV and includes whisky from distilleries that have since closed.
The nose has hazelnut, honey and dried fruit, with vanilla, orange peel and gentle smoke. The palate brings caramel, dark chocolate, candied orange and smokiness with a touch of peat. The finish is long, with sweet smoke, dried fruit and warm spice.
