Johnnie Walker Double Black is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It is a small-batch, limited variation on Johnnie Walker Black Label.
What sets it apart is a finish in charred oak casks. This gives the 12 year old Black Label base a more distinct character and a more intense flavour.
It is described as strongly smoky and sweetly malty.
