Johnnie Walker Explorers' Club Collection – The Spice Road (1L)

The Spice Road is a Scotch blended whisky in a 1 litre bottle and the first of three releases in the Johnnie Walker Explorers' Club Collection. The series looks back to the early nineteenth century, when travellers went around the world seeking markets for the products of John Walker & Sons. The colour is golden amber. The nose is led by spice, mainly cinnamon. On the palate it leans sweet, with caramel, raisin, toasted almond, honey and vanilla, plus a gentle touch of chilli. Smoke runs through without pushing forward, and clove and ginger add to the spice, while apple, kiwi and lime bring a light fruitiness.
