Johnnie Walker High Rye Blended Scotch Whisky (75cl, 45%)

Johnnie Walker High Rye is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 45% in a 75cl bottle. It combines Highland and Lowland malt whiskies with a grain whisky distilled primarily from rye, made from a mash bill of at least 60% rye grain. The blend is aged in a combination of oak casks, and the rye is used to bring a peppery spice to the Johnnie Walker house style. The nose is bright, with green apple, baking spice, toffee, toasted oak, cinnamon and light vanilla. The palate is lively and medium-bodied, with cracked black pepper, rye spice, orchard fruit, caramel and a faint wisp of smoke. The finish is long, dry and warming, with citrus peel, oak spice and a gentle smokiness.
