Johnnie Walker King George V Angel Chen Limited Edition is a Lunar New Year release of the King George V blend, with artwork by the Chinese fashion designer Angel Chen. The whisky comes only from distilleries that were operating during the reign of King George V, from 1910 to 1936, including stocks from the closed Port Ellen and Port Dundas distilleries, alongside mature Highland and Speyside whiskies.
The nose has sweet peat smoke, orange zest, raisins, figs and cinnamon. The palate is full-bodied, with vanilla, honey, dark chocolate, toffee, roasted nuts and orchard fruits. The finish is very long, with maritime smoke, pepper and dried fruit.
