Johnnie Walker Red Label (1L)

Johnnie Walker Red Label is a blended Scotch whisky in a 1 litre bottle. Caol Ila and Talisker give the blend its body, along with a smoky, spicy strength. Glendullan provides a steady malt foundation, and grain whisky from Port Dundas brings the flavours and the aftertaste together. The square bottle became a Johnnie Walker trademark for a practical reason: with strong demand overseas, it allowed more bottles to fit into each crate for shipping. The nose combines light grain, buttery cream and peat. Once warmed in the hand, it shows deep honey and a mild apple note. The palate is full, oily and full-bodied.
