Johnnie Walker Swing Superior is a blended whisky from John Walker & Sons, in a 75cl bottle at 43% ABV.
In the glass it opens with dark fruit, Seville orange and Turkish delight over a deep spiciness, with peat smoke, malted barley sweetness, sherry, vanilla and a hint of old leather or tobacco. The palate is both sharp and sweet, with dark fruit, barley sugar and oak, and the smoke of Islay arrives mid-palate alongside pepper, nutmeg and a touch of salt.
The finish is medium to long and spicy, leaving warm peat smoke, toasted oak, raisins and a little clove.
