Johnnie Walker Umami Elusive is a blended Scotch whisky from the Blue Label range, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV.
Blue Label first appeared in 1992. Its style looks back to the Old Highland Blend that the son of the company's founder created in 1865. The exact recipe is still kept private, though the influence of sherry-aged whisky in the blend is noticeable.
The Blue Label character is described as rich and full-bodied, with gentle smoke, oak, marzipan, dark chocolate and dried fruit. The finish brings sandalwood, ginger and lasting malty sweetness.
