Journeyman Distillery – Buggy Whip Wheat Whiskey (75cl)

Buggy Whip is a wheat whiskey from Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan, made from a mash bill of 100% wheat and sold in a 75cl bottle. The distillery works from a former factory building, where the maple floors date from the 1800s. The high wheat content gives the whiskey a soft sweetness and a smooth texture, and its character is said to lean towards Irish whiskey. On the palate it is described as vanilla nuttiness, creamy caramel and grain, with subtle clove and soft spice.
