Judson & Moore Single Malt is an American single malt whiskey distilled in Chicago, Illinois, and bottled at 47% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The mashbill is 65% applewood smoked malted barley and 35% unsmoked malted barley. Its smoke comes from midwestern applewood rather than peat.
The nose is mint and vanilla, with light applewood smoke and a bright citrus lift. The palate leads with lemon and vanilla, then dry oak and woody spice, with the smoke restrained. The finish is lingering and moderately dry, with vanilla, toasted wood and a faint smoky warmth.
