Jura 16 Year Old (70cl)

Jura 16 Year Old is a single malt from the Isle of Jura Distillery in the Scottish Hebrides, in a 70cl bottle. It matures in ex-bourbon oak casks. The distillery names apricot, citrus and sea salt as its main notes, and it uses exceptionally tall stills to make a light spirit. The nose is fresh and fruity, with ripe dried apricot, sweet citrus and soft vanilla. On the palate, apricot and ripe fruit come with candied orange peel and a little sweet spice. The finish is clean, with dried fruit, citrus and a hint of sea salt.
