This is an Isle of Jura single malt aged for 18 years. It matured in American ex-bourbon white oak and was then finished in premier grand cru classé Bordeaux barriques.
It was awarded a gold medal at the International Spirits Challenge in 2020.
The nose has cinnamon, dried berries and wine jelly. On the palate come brandied cherry, Turkish honey, milky coffee and blackcurrant jam. The finish brings chocolate cake, a hint of hay and orange oil.
