Kamiki Intense Wood Blended Malt (50cl)

Kamiki Intense is a blended malt in a 50cl bottle, made from Japanese malt whiskies and malt whiskies from elsewhere in the world. It is made under the protection of Omiwa priests from Nara and carries no age statement. The blend is aged in oak barrels for a minimum of three years, then matured a second time in non-charred Yoshino Sugi (Japanese cedar) casks. Intense spends longer in cedar than Kamiki Original. The nose offers heather honey and sandalwood. The palate has sweet caramel, Japanese plum and oak with peat. The finish is long, with hints of toffee and a zest of green tea.
