This is a 35 year old whisky from Karuizawa, the Japanese distillery that stopped whisky production in 2011. The Miyajima bottling comes from cask #6809. The whisky was distilled in 1981 and matured in that cask until it was bottled in 2016. Just 317 bottles were released, and each one comes in a wooden box.
