Karuizawa – Five Decades: Mercury

Mercury is one of seven new expressions in the Karuizawa Five Decades collection, which draws on whisky distilled at Karuizawa across five decades. A private collector spent years assembling the archive, and 210 bottles were opened and assessed before their contents were blended into seven new whiskies. Each expression is named for one of the seven classical celestial bodies. Mercury, the messenger of the gods, stands for connection and exchange, and this bottling brings together whisky from different points in the distillery's history. Only 30 bottles were produced.
