Karuizawa – Five Decades: The Moon

Karuizawa Five Decades: The Moon is one of seven new expressions created from a private collector's archive of Karuizawa whisky distilled across five decades. 210 bottles from the archive were opened and assessed before their contents were blended into the seven. Each expression is named for one of the seven classical celestial bodies. The Moon draws on whiskies from different moments in the distillery's history and is meant to reflect the changing character of Karuizawa over time. The Moon was produced in 30 bottles.
