Karuizawa – Five Decades: The Sun

Karuizawa Five Decades: The Sun is a Japanese whisky blended from Karuizawa stocks distilled across five decades. It belongs to a collection of seven expressions, each named after a classical celestial body. The collection was assembled from the archive of a private collector. A total of 210 bottles were opened and assessed before their contents were blended into seven new expressions. The Sun is intended to embody the richness, intensity and enduring character of the distillery's finest years, and it is one of just 30 bottles produced.
