This is an early Karuizawa bottling made for Sanraku Shuzo Co., taken from the company's Gloria Blend whisky. It is bottled at 43% in a 76cl bottle and comes with a special bottle holder.
Karuizawa was a malt distillery that joined the Sanraku-Ocean company, formed in 1962 through a merger of Sanraku Shuzo and Ocean. The company produced blended whiskies under the Ocean Whisky brand using Kawasaki grain and Karuizawa malt. Karuizawa was mothballed in 2001 and dismantled by Kirin in 2010.
