Kavalan Ex-Bourbon Cask is a Taiwanese whisky bottled at 57.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks, and the influence of that wood shows in both its golden-yellow colour and its aromas.
The whisky is made with great precision. On the palate it shows vanilla sweetness and a delicate fruitiness, and the finish is long, with exotic fruit and coconut.
