Kilchoman Batch Strength is an Islay single malt bottled at 57% abv. A few drops of water were added after maturation to bring it to that strength.
The whisky was matured in a combination of re-charred red wine casks, oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels.
It is described as a big dram, pairing the natural peat smoke and citrus character of Kilchoman with dark fruits, rich spices and a salted caramel sweetness.
