Kilchoman Machir Bay is an Islay single malt named after a beach a short walk from the distillery. It combines whiskies matured in 90% first-fill bourbon casks and 10% oloroso sherry casks.
Heavily peated at 50 ppm, it is bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. Its flavour brings together pronounced ashy smoke, citrus, white-fleshed and tropical fruit, with a touch of salt.
