Kilchoman Loch Gorm 5th Edition is an Islay single malt whisky, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2017 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured exclusively in oloroso sherry casks.
The nose combines sweet barbecue smoke, cooked fruit, dark chocolate and dried figs, with honey-roasted nuts and cinnamon. The palate balances rich fruit with peat smoke and citrus sweetness, alongside caramel, malted barley and spiced oak. The finish is long and warming, with sherry sweetness, light peat smoke and a touch of spice.
