Kilchoman Sanaig is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It takes its name from a small rocky inlet north of the distillery, and it is mainly influenced by sherry casks.
Kilchoman was established in 2005 on a farm on Islay's west coast and was the first distillery built on the island for 125 years.
The nose is soft cooked fruit with caramel and vanilla. On the palate come toffee, peat smoke and citrus with lingering sweetness, and the finish balances peat smoke, fruit and sweetness.
