Kilkerran 12 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 12 years.
Oak leads the nose, followed by toasted marshmallow, dried fruit pudding, cherries, marzipan and a hint of peat. The palate opens fruity, with citrus and orange peel, before vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb and digestive biscuit come through.
The finish is smooth and velvety, with lemon meringue, then the oiliness and saltiness expected of a Campbeltown dram.
