Kilkerran 8 Year Old is a cask strength single malt, the 2023 release, bottled at 55.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured exclusively in bourbon casks.
The nose is floral, with elderflower and heather alongside vanilla, custard creams and a foam banana sweetness. On the palate come cocoa nibs, cured ham and earthy peat smoke, developing towards pineapple and coconut. The finish carries lingering peat smoke and a long digestive biscuit note.
