Kilkerran 8 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt produced at the Glengyle Distillery. It was matured entirely in bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength, 55.8% ABV.
The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is typically described as vanilla cream, lemon peel, malted barley and light coastal brine. The palate brings sweet oak, citrus zest, honey, cracked pepper and a little smoke. The finish is long and drying, with warming spice, oak tannin and gentle salinity.
