Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 (70cl, 58.3%)

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 is a Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle Distillery, bottled in 2026 at a natural cask strength of 58.3% (116.6 proof) in a 70cl bottle. It is the fourteenth release in the Heavily Peated series, a smokier small-batch expression made during only a small part of the distillery's annual run. The whisky was matured in 90% ex-bourbon and 10% ex-sherry casks, and is bottled without chill filtration or added colouring. The nose offers creamy butterscotch, banana fritter and elderflower above the peat smoke. On the palate, smoke runs through honeydew melon and a savoury cured meat note, with sweet malt and coastal salinity beneath. The finish is long and smoky, closing on verbena and honeycomb.
