King's Ransom 12 Years Old is a 12 year old whisky bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle.
It is described as an old-school style of whisky. The nose is dense, recalling old library books and damp wood, with honey, ripe apples, nuts and a faintly musky, earthy and floral background. The palate starts soft with a slightly oily body, bringing tobacco, very old peat and a little salinity.
The finish is short to medium and dry, leaving an oily trace, muted smoke and a floral, woody aftertaste.
