KinGlassie Raw is a heavily peated single malt from the InchDairnie Distillery in Fife, in the Lowlands of Scotland. It is bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 700ml bottle.
The spirit is made from Fife-grown barley peated to 50 ppm and matured for eight years in first-fill ex-bourbon American oak casks. It has a golden straw colour and a medium, creamy body.
The nose combines bonfire smoke and campfire embers with sweet malt and faint vanilla. On the palate come punchy peat and pepper, roasted marshmallows, salted caramel and honey. The finish is long and dry, with smoke, lime zest, ash and roasted nuts.
