Kiyokawa The Cask is a single cask Japanese single malt, made entirely on site at the Iiyama Mountain Farm Distillery from home-grown barley farmed just outside the distillery. The distillery works with local farmers who grow a mountain barley strain suited to the climate of the Iiyama valley.
This first release is a 3 year old matured in an ex-Pedro Ximenez cask, which has given a smooth, creamy spirit. Only 398 bottles were produced.
Each bottle has a handmade washi-paper label made with barley husks and comes in a wooden presentation box.
