This is a 16 year old Irish single malt from Knappogue Castle, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured first in bourbon casks and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose brings ripe fruit, vanilla, honey and fine oak spice. The palate is soft and balanced, with caramel, dried fruit, spice and a restrained sweetness, leading to a long finish.
