This is a 24 year old Irish single malt from Knappogue Castle, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2022 from a single sherry cask at a cask strength of 54.4%. It belongs to the Ex Libris Wind of Spices series, bottled for La Maison du Whisky, and is non-chill-filtered and free of colouring. 526 bottles were filled, each of 70cl.
Praline, grilled almonds and dates mark the nose, while the palate brings exotic fruit such as guava and mango. The finish turns to orange liqueur with ginger, cloves and nutmeg.
