This is Knockando 1997, a 21 year old Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is bottled as a Master Reserve.
The whisky is made with casks that lie in the coolest part of the warehouse. Maturation in that spot takes longer, and the resulting malt is extremely smooth. The overall character is elegant and sophisticated.
