This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from Knockando, distilled in 2002 and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was aged in bourbon casks and has a pale amber colour.
The nose is fruity and floral with a hint of blackcurrant, followed by some ash and a trace of damp linen. The body is light, the palate pleasantly sweet and lightly drying, and the finish is relatively short, clean and easy to drink.
