This is a 2002 Knockando from Speyside, aged for 12 years in bourbon casks and bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is pale amber with a light body. The nose is fruity and floral with a hint of blackcurrant, some ash and a trace of damp linen. The palate is pleasantly sweet, drying lightly with a touch of acidity, and the finish is fairly short, clean and easy to drink.
