Knockando Richly Matured is a 15 year old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in first-fill sherry casks and refill bourbon casks.
The name comes from the Gaelic for 'little black hill'. Each bottle comes from a single vintage.
The colour is deep amber. The nose offers dried fruit, sweet spices, dark chocolate and sherry. The palate is intense and velvety with a strong fruitiness, and wood and sherry add warmth. The finish is long, with wood and sweet spices.
