This is a 10 year old Speyside single malt from Knockando, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as Spirit of Scotland. It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 58.3%, in a 700ml bottle.
The whisky matured in a refill bourbon barrel, cask 1283, and 209 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered, with a lightest gold colour from maturation alone.
The nose offers lemon and lime zest with gorse flower, then tropical fruit. On the palate, sweet peach and dried banana lead to white chocolate, malted biscuit, white pepper and orange oil. The finish is medium, with lingering citrus and honey.
