Kurayoshi 12 Year Old is a Japanese blended malt whisky from Tottori, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Kurayoshi Distillery is part of Matsui Shuzo.
It is a blend of single malts aged over 12 years in American white oak barrels, and is cut with soft spring water from the Kurayoshi region.
The nose combines soft honey, fresh apricots and a hint of almond. The palate has dried fruit, malted grain, toasted oak and a touch of smoke. The finish is long and dry, with subtle spice, stone fruit and a clean mineral note.
