The Matsui Mizunara Cask is a Japanese single malt distilled at Kurayoshi Distillery and bottled at 48% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky was rested in Mizunara, the Japanese oak. The label carries Hokusai's print from Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, showing the mountain with red-crowned cranes, which are native to Japan.
It is described as oaky, with hints of spice, a rich mouthfeel and a toffee-like sweetness, followed by a refreshing finish.
