Kurayoshi 12 Year Old Red Label Sherry Cask is a Japanese single malt from Kurayoshi Distillery, aged for twelve years in sherry casks.
The nose shows sherried dried fruit such as raisins and figs, with chocolate, toasted nuts, vanilla and a little spice. On the palate, sweet sherried fruit and creamy malt come with toffee, caramel and a touch of oak.
The finish is long, with lingering sweetness and a hint of spice.
