Matsui Mizunara is a Japanese single malt from Kurayoshi, produced by Matsui Shuzo in Tottori Prefecture and finished in Mizunara oak casks. It carries no age statement and is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is blended with water from Mt. Daisen. Mizunara is a Japanese oak that is difficult to work and is found in the forests of Hokkaido and the Tohoku region. The label shows Katsushika Hokusai's Thirty Six Views of Mount Fuji.
