This is a Bavarian single malt from the Kymsee distillery on the Chiemsee, finished in a quarter cask. The standard Kymsee single malt was moved into small 55-litre ex-bourbon casks from a micro bourbon distillery, which add a fuller body and a soft bourbon aroma.
It was distilled in June 2016 and bottled at the end of 2019, at about four years old and 42% ABV. Oliver Lange, a qualified master brewer, makes the base beer himself and triple distils it. The whisky is non-chill-filtered with no added colouring.
