Kyrö Peat Smoke Malt Rye Whisky (70cl, 47.2%)

A Finnish rye whisky made from 100% Finnish malted rye, smoked over Finnish freshwater peat. The malt is smoked in a barn, in the manner of the old days in the north, and bottled at 47.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is vatted mainly from Kyrö Peat Smoke matured in new American oak and ex-bourbon barrels, with some Kyrö Malt ex-bourbon barrels added. The proportions change from batch to batch. The nose is rich, with vanilla and waxy smoke.
