Kyrö Whisky of Fire Smoked Malted Rye - Game of Thrones (70cl, 46.6%)

Whisky of Fire is a smoked rye whisky from Kyrö in Finland, made from fully malted Finnish rye and bottled at 46.6%. It is a limited edition from Kyrö's collaboration with Game of Thrones and refers to House Targaryen. The rye is smoked with alder wood and peat. It matured in ex-bourbon casks and new American oak casks, and a rum cask finish completes the maturation. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose offers light smoke with toasted rye and spiced apple jam. On the palate, layered smoke meets sweet grain, mineral notes and blackberries, with a hint of menthol. The finish is smoky and sweet, ending dry.
