Lagg – Inaugural Release 2022 Batch 2 (50%)

Lagg Inaugural Release 2022 Batch 2 is a single malt from Lagg Distillery, on the southern tip of the Isle of Arran, bottled at 50% ABV. The whisky began its maturation in bourbon casks and then spent about six months in fresh oloroso sherry casks. The first spirit at Lagg ran from the stills on 19 March 2019, and the first cask was filled on 10 April 2019. Intense fruit is the main character. There is not much smoke on the nose, but it comes through on the palate.
