Kilmory Edition is the core expression from Lagg Distillery on the Isle of Arran, and shows the distillery's newer, smoky style. It is matured entirely in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose brings citrus, green apple and vanilla with clear peat smoke and a light spiciness. The palate is lively and balanced, with sweet malt, vanilla and lemon under strong but elegant smoke. The finish is medium in length and smoky, with lingering citrus, soft spice and a dry close.
