Laird O'Logan De Luxe is a blended whisky in a 75cl bottle.
The nose shows a strong sherry cask influence, with ripe dark fruit such as dried figs and raisins, toasted almonds, orange peel and cocoa, over old leather, sweet vanilla and a very light peat smoke. The palate is silky and oily, with grain sweetness, caramel, brown sugar and ripe fruit alongside cinnamon and clove, and a subtle smoky, salty note inherited from Islay.
The finish is medium to long and warm, leaving marzipan, caramel, green apple, lingering spice and toasted wood.
