Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 012 is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in ex-bourbon barrels, barrier-filtered and bottled at natural distillery strength, which gives depth of taste and texture.
At cask strength the whisky can overpower the palate, and adding water releases its aroma. The nose then shows rich peat smoke with some sweetness and strong hints of the sea.
