A 10-year-old Islay single malt from Laphroaig, Batch 013, bottled at natural distillery strength of 57.9% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon barrels and is barrier-filtered.
The nose is sweet cereal and biscuit with fresh oak, smoked cedar and Manuka honey, alongside pipe tobacco, old leather and a touch of waxy candle. The palate is sweet and spicy, with toffee, sea salt, vanilla and caramel waffles. The finish is floral, with spicy oak tannins, iodine and sea salt.
