Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 014 is an Islay single malt matured in ex-bourbon barrels. It is barrier-filtered and bottled at its natural distillery strength of 58.6%.
Sweet cereal, biscuit, smoked cedar and Manuka honey lead into tobacco, leather, vanilla cream and nutmeg on the nose. The palate combines burnt oak, barbecued marshmallow, toffee and sea salt, with caramel waffles, coffee fudge and warming spice. Floral notes, spicy oak tannins, iodine and sea salt remain on the finish.
